I can't tell you how many times I've heard these phrases:
"I'm not sure I want a maternity session."
"Ugh, I don't feel very glamorous right now."
"Gosh, no I couldn't possibly be in front of a camera right now."
But I'm here to tell you... you are beautiful, and perfect, and growing a life... and you will want these photos one day.
Maybe you want to capture that perfect little bump since each one is different, or your last few minutes with only your first born. Or maybe you just want to be able to say to that little one when they've grown, "hey, that's you and me, kid".
This is an amazing journey that you will want to look back on. I promise. Even if your toddler doesn't want to cooperate (which will 100% happen)...
that toddler is still lovely and perfect in this moment. Their whole word is changing and they aren't even sure how yet. But that's also why these sessions can be fun for them! We laugh and play and soak up those last days as an only child as they get ready to meet their forever best friend.
And sometimes if we time it just right, we get that perfect sunset snuggle at the end.
